Re: What is the passing percentage in 11th standard CBSE? The passing percentage in class 11th or any other class for making to next standard in CBSE schools are 33% in each of the subjects . Also if there is two papers in a subject then the a student has to pass in each paper of the subject individually to be referred to Class 12th .For example physics consists of two papers one is the practical paper of 30 marks and second is the theory paper of 70 marks so to pass in the physics a student has to secure 12 marks in the first paper and 23 in the second paper for their promotion to next standard . Also if a student fails in one of the subject then he has the option of compartmental examination by clearing which one can make to the next class . But the minimum marks percentage in 12th for the eligibility in competitive examination a you have to score more than 50%-60% in your main subjects . |
