Yes, you are eligible to get admission in the bachelor degree in Physical Education course.

The required qualification to get admission in the course is :

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have good physical fitness to get admission in the course.

Candidates also have to qualify in as short written test conducted to check the general ability for final admission of the candidates.

There are numerous opportunities as PT teacher in various services.

Yes, candidates passed 12th or higher degree are eligible to get admission in B.P.Ed course.

The admission in the course is conducted through entrance test which consists of Physical fitness and General Ability Test.

Yes, there are various opportunities after the course in recruitment as teacher in schools and various departments.

Yes, you are eligible to study B.P.Ed from IGNOU.

B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) is a graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 3 years.

The basic eligibility required to study B.P.Ed is 10+2 or its equivalent education with minimum 50% in any stream from any recognized board.

There are plenty of job opportunities after completing B.P.Ed. Some of them are listed below:

- Sports goods manufacturing marketing executive
- Commentator
- Sports administration
- Physical education instructor

You can pursue B.P.Ed after completing Intermediate.

Eligibility criteria to pursue B.P.Ed are as follows:-
Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any board. Candidate who have taken Physical Education in 10+2 are more preferred.
Candidate age should not less than 17 years at the time of admission.
Candidates under reserved category will be given age relaxation as per rules of institution.

Barkatullah University
Banaras Hindu University
Mangalore University

I am B.A. graduate from IGNOU but I had 50% marks in 10+2. Am I Eligible for Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) from IGNOU itself? If yes, then provide further details regarding the course like the value of course and job opportunities after completion of the course.
