There is an entrance exam conducted by the NIFT every year and arts stream students are also eligible. Just perform well in entrance exam so that you are allotted the best college based on your rank through counselling. |

In the prominent institutes, admission is strictly on married through written test, situation test, group discussion and interview. If you are interested to pursue Fashion Designing course then you must have minimum qualification of 12th standard from a recognised board in any discipline with at least 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved students. The reputed institutes of Fashion Technology give admission on the basis of entrance examination score such as NIFT, NIFD, SOFT etc. So you have to qualify one of the entrance exam in order to get admission in reputed Institute otherwise you can take admission in some private college also. |

Arts stream candidates are eligible for NIFT B.Des entrance examination. The upper age limit for NIFT entrance examination is 23 years. Upper age is relaxed by five years for candidates of reserved category. |
