You must have minimum academic qualification of bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Knowledge of Tamil language is necessary and candidate should have studied at 10th or 12th level. 2. Age limit is 20-28 years. You can apply for exam if you meet above criteria. |

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for Sub Inspector post in Tamil nadu state is Graduation or an equivalent examination pass from UGC approved college or university and there is no marks percentage criteria in graduation. Age limit to apply for this post is 18-25 years for General category candidates and age relaxations for reserved category candidates are as per Tamil nadu state government regulations. And physical standards required to apply for SI post are -> Height should be 170 cm for men and 157 cm for women candidates. -> And chest should be 80 cm without expansion for male candidates and there is no such requirement for women candidates. -> Eye sight should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in worst eye for distant vision. |

Educational qualification required to apply for Sub-Inspector post of Tamil Nadu Police recruitment are:- The job aspirants must be graduate from recognized university. They must know Tamil language and should have studied as a subject either in 10th standard or 12th standard. Age limit – for both men/women the age limit is between 20 years to 28 years Age relaxation – For SC/ST: 33 years (upper age limit) For Ex-Servicemen: 45 years (upper age limit) For destitute widow: 35 years (upper age limit) For candidates of department: 45 years (upper age limit) |
