No, you are not eligible to join Merchant Navy after completion of your 12th standard PCB stream with 80% aggregate marks. To be eligible to join Merchant Navy, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board. Since, you have pursued your 12th standard with PCB stream, you are not eligible to join Merchant Navy. |

As per the NDA eligibility, a candidate must have completed 12th standard with PCM in order to join Indian Navy and Airforce and must have passed 12th standard either with PCM or commerce to join Indian Army. The candidates who have passed their 12th standard with PCB are not eligible to appear in this examination. |

The minimum qualification required for Merchant Navy is 12th with Physics and Mathematics with 60% marks and English in 10th and 12th with minimum 50% marks in it. As you are not having mathematics in your 12th, so you are not eligible for merchant navy. |

To join Merchant Navy, candidate must have passed 12th class Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board. Candidate should be an Indian and Unmarried. The age of applicants should be in between 19 to 23 years. As per your Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects you are not eligible for Merchant Navy. |

Can I join Merchant Navy after passing 12th board exam with 80% with PCB subject combination? I have passed my 12th board exam with 80% having Physics, Chemistry and Biology PCB as a subject combination and I want to join Merchant Navy now. So, sir what should I do? |
