Re: What is the eligibility conditions for getting admission in MBBS in AIIMS, Delhi?

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science. It is a autonomous institute which conducts its own entrance examination for MBBS course. Candidates who have done 12th with PCB or PCM with biology are eligible for the exam.

Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in board exam of 12th if they belong to general category. Reserved category candidates have percentage relaxation. The minimum age required to apply for exam is 17 years.

The acronym MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course. AIIMS conducts its own entrance examination for admission in MBBS course.

Eligibility criteria for MBBS course:

Academic qualification: 12th from a recognized board with PCB subjects.

You should have minimum of 60% marks in board examination to apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam.

Re: What is the eligibility conditions for getting admission in MBBS in AIIMS, Delhi?

First thing I would like to let you know that the minimum education required for appearing in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination is a higher secondary school degree with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 60% marks ( 50% marks in case of reserved category candidates except OBC ) from recognized board of education.

So, having cleared your Class 12th originally with PCM group you are not eligible for appearing in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination even having completed your Biology paper ( additional paper ) next year as for appearing in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination you are required to have qualified your Class 12th with PCB group at one go.

For more details and FAQs related to AIIMS MBBS entrance examination you can refer to the link www.aiimsexams.org .
