Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue BVSc course:

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are not eligible to pursue BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) course. The basic educational qualification required to pursue this course is given below.

<> Candidates must have completed their 12th Class in 10+2 pattern with below mentioned subjects only.
-- Physics
-- Biology
-- Chemistry

<> As you are done 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects you may not be eligible for pursuing this course.

<> Minimum percentage required in 12th class in order to pursue this course is 50% marks.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor 's degree in Veterinary Science:

Higher secondary board passed with science stream. In Science stream, Biology must be a subject of science stream.

You can not apply for BVSc course after 12th PCM.

The full form of BVSc is Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science.

Eligibility criteria for BVSc course:

1. You must have done 12th from a recognized board.

2. Your subjects in 12th must include Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

3. You should have minimum of 50% marks in 12th.

If you meet all three criteria mentioned above then you can apply for exam.

For admission in Bachelor degree in Veterinary science it is mandatory that candidate must have passed 12th in PCB as main paper.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in the couree after 12th in PCM.

Entrance examination is conducted by various universities and colleges for admission in the course.

The minimum required aggregate to appear for examination varies.

As you are aspiring to become a Veterinary doctor then you have to opt for medical stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.

You have to appear in All India Pre Veterinary examination after qualifying your 12th.

You can also appear in State Veterinary exams.

Minimum age required is 17 years and maximum age is 25 years.

Veterinary Council of India conducts an 'All India Common Entrance Examination' for admission to first year Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree course.

The duration of Bachelor's degree program varies from 4-5 years, including the period of internship.

No, you are not eligible to get admission in Bachelor degree in Veterinary science.

The required eligibility to get admission in the course is :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50 percent in 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions to offer admission in the course.

Eligibility to pursue BVSc course:

Candidate must have completed 12th standard with PCB from a recognised board with at least 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved students.

As you have completed your 12th standard with PCM hence you are not eligible.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science course has following eligibility criteria:

1. Biology is an essential subject to be studied at 12th level to apply for BVSc course.

2. Apart from biology, Physics, chemistry also required.

If you have not studied biology in senior secondary board exam then you can not apply for this course.

BVSc is Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science and required qualification to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper..

So, you are not eligible to get admission in the course as you have not completed 12th in Biology.

BVSc stands for Bachelor of Veterinary Science. The eligibility criteria for this professional course is as below:

>>Candidate who wish to apply for BVSc course must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Without studying biology at 12th level, you can not apply for this course.

>>Minimum of 50% marks in 12th is required to apply for this course.

You are not eligible for this course.

The eligibility to get admission in BVSc course is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper.

In most of the institutes admission is conducted after qualifying in entrance test.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in course if you do not have Biology as main paper.

=> B.V.Sc. or Bachelor of Veterinary Science is an undergraduate Veterinary Science Course.

=> The duration of this course is four and half years.

=> For this course candidate must have passed 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects from a recognized board.

=> As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to study BVSc course after 12th PCM candidate.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have completed class 10+2 exam in PCB(Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to get admission in BVSc( Bachelor of Veterinary Science) course.

Admission Procedure:
Many colleges offer direct admission in BVSc course in based of the marks obtained in class 12. In this case, candidates have to submit the scanned copies of their mark sheet and documents online. If the authority finds you eligible for the course, they will contact you.

But, some of the good ranked colleges conduct entrance tests to give admission. In this case, candidates have to apply for the entrance test and secure a good rank. Selection will be based on the merit list of the entrance test.

>> Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh
>> College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner, Rajasthan

>> Bihar Agricultural University, Bhagalpur, Bihar

***As you have completed class 10+2 in PCM , you are not eligible to do BVSc course.

To serve in Veterinary field, candidate must have done 12th from recognized board with medical stream having Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 50% marks.

Hence, you are not eligible to serve in the Veterinary field as you have done 12th from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.

Eligibility to study BVSc for 12th PCM candidate?

Respected Sir, I have completed my 12th from Uttar Pradesh Board with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I am interested to study Bachelor of Veterinary Science course. So, am I able to do this Veterinary course? Waiting for your response!
