Eligibility criteria to apply for NDA exam Applicant should fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for NDA & NA exam . Applicant must be Indian citizen. Applicant's date of birth should fall between 02 July 1995 and 01 January 1998 both dates are included. For date of birth proof, UPSC will consider matriculation certificate only. No other documents are considered by the commission. Applicant should submit the academic certificates after being shortlisted for SSB interviews. Educational qualifications required In order to apply for Army wing of National Defence Academy, applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream. For Air Force Academy and Navy wings of NDA, candidate should have Mathematics and Physics subjects in his 10+2 exam. Candidates who are studying in second year of 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for NDA & NA exam . For Naval Academy also applicant must have studied Physics and Maths at 10+2 level. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- The Age Should between 16.5 To 19 Yrs. Only Unmarried Male candidates are Eligible. Minimum Acceptable height is 157.5 cms.( 162.5 cms for Air force) |

 I am glad to know, that, you want to join the Indian NAVAL academy (NA). The NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) exam ,conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC). The educational requirement for appear in this examination is a 12th degree .. If one wants to apply for the INDIAN AIR & NAVAL ACADEMY, one must have Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60% (aggregate,)... Otherwise, one can only apply for the military academy (IMA). The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years. EXAM PATTERN-  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-   You must have Indian nationality. You must have marital status unmarried. How much eyesight is required? mani kumar.g.s sir,iam 5'9feet and 55kgs and iam physically fit and i did trainings like karate,boxing and usually i go to swiming twice or thrice in a week and iam having an national certificate in karate and state in boxing but recently my eye power is reduced to 1.75 in each eye so im so am i eligible in air force or army |

I did training in many curriculums viz; swimming, martial arts, football, etc. With all these i made 6 pacs. But my eyesight is little poor. So, am i applicable for navy or air force? |
