Re: Eligibility to apply in NDA recruitment for 20 years old 12th NIOS candidate? Let me tell you that you are not eligible to apply for NDA as you have crossed 19.5 years of age. There are limitations in age criteria and it is upto 16.5 years to 19.5 years of age. If you are interested then you should pursue graduation from Science stream and after completing it you will be allowed to write CDS entrance exam.it is also a part of NDA entrance examination conducted on graduation basis. |

National Defence academy entrance exam has following criteria: Academic qualification: 12th passed from a recognized board. Age criteria is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. You can not apply for NDA exam at age of 20 years. |

Being a 20 years old candidate, you are not eligible for joining NDA ( National Defense Academy ) as for joining NDA, the age limit is 16.5 years to 19.5 years. But, if you are interested in becoming an officer in Indian defense services, then you can look for the similar option through CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) examination, after completion of your bachelor's degree course from a recognized university. To be eligible to apply for NDA recruitment, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a Government recognised board. You should be an unmarried male candidate and should be in the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years. |

Being a 20 years old candidate, you are not eligible to join NDA in any case as the age limit for joining NDA is 16.5 years to 19.5 years. The examination is conducted in two stages. So, you are not eligible to appear in examination. Candidates after bachelor degree are eligible for recruitment in CDS examination.
