Requirements to apply in UGC-NET(Social Science) are given below. => Candidate should have passed master degree from a recognized university. => The minimum percentage required in master degree for this examination is 55%. => The age of candidate should not be greater than 30 years. => Five years age relaxation is given to reserved category candidate. => Final years candidate are also eligible for UGC-NET(Social Science) examination. |

Re: Requirements to apply in UGC-NET(Social Science)? In order to appear in UGC NET, one must have completed post graduation in relevant field. If you want to appear for Social Science in UGC NET then you must have completed your post graduation in the same subject. |

The basic requirements for applying to UGC NET in Social Science are listed below: - The candidate should be a citizen of India. - The educational qualification required is a masters/ post graduation/ it’s equivalent education in any subject related to social science from any recognised university. - The minimum percentage required for general candidates is 55% and there is 5% relaxation for reservation candidates like OBC, SC, ST and etc., - The candidates appearing for final year of post graduation or its equivalent degree are also eligible for applying to UGC NET exam. - The age limit should be below 28 years. - There is 5 years relaxation given for reservation candidates. If you meet the requirements then you can apply for the UGC NET exam. For application forms and other information visit the official website of UGC NET. |

Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Post-Graduation. Candidate upper age limit should not exceed 45 years of age. |
