After completion of BDS you have to join in indian army for the post of SSC(short service commisioned) in army dental department . Elligibility for the applicant: -Applicant should be completed BDS from any recognized university with minimum 55% marks. -Applicant should be citizen of india. -Age limit should be maximum 45years of age. Applicant must have mandatory to appear in national eligibility-cum entrance test, NEET(mds) conducted by national board of exams NBE. |

Re: Required criteria to join Indian Army as Officer after completion of BDS? dear friend, Yes, my friend you can join in army wing after completion of BDS course. For that you have to appear in CDS exam. Through CDS exam you can join in Army wing.. Eligibility for CDS exam:- For I.M.A academy:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Age should be in between 19-24 years. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.Candidate must be unmarried male. These are eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. All the best. |

Your age should be in between 24 to 45 years.There is no age relaxation for Any Category. The Process for selection Dental Doctor for Army is given below. 1)Written Test 2)Personal Interview. 3)Physical and Medical Test. Thanks |
