Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for IBPS IT Officer Recruitment: The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for IBPS IT Officer recruitment is given below. >> Minimum age - 20 years and maximum age - 30 years Of course, there is an age relaxation for reserved category candidates. >> You have mentioned that you have done M.Sc course. If you have pursued distance degree from a recognized university then I can say that you are certainly eligible to apply for this recruitment. It totally depends on the university that you have done M.Sc course. >> You must have done 4 years Engineering course in several streams and post graduate degree in IT or Computer Science or Computer Application or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized university in order to be eligible. |

You have to appear and qualify in the entrance examination for final admission. The examination is conducted in various stages. The age limit is 21-30 years. |

Eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS IT Officer recruitment are as follows:- A candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962. Candidate age should be under 20 years to 30 years. Relaxation- OBC- 3 years SC/ST- 5 years PWD- 10 years Candidate must have passed 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Application etc. from a recognized university. Or Candidate must have passed Post- Graduate degree from a recognized university. Or Candidate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level. |

Yes, you are eligible for IT officer recruitment examination after master degree in IT. The age limit is 20-30 years also there is relaxation for candidates with reserved category. Candidates passed master degree in Information Technology are eligible to appear in entrance examination for recruitment as an IBPS IT Officer. The age limit is 20-30 years with relaxation for reserved category in upper age criteria. Candidate must have scored minimum 50% to appear in examination. Candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination for final recruitment. |

Re: Eligibility to apply for IBPS IT Officer recruitment for distance MSc(IT) postgraduate? --> The minimum qualifications required to apply for the IBPS IT officer examination are as below :- a) You must be an Indian citizen. b) Your age need to lie within 20 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is allowed in case of reserved category candidates. c) You must have completed your engineering/technology degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Application/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics and Instrumentation discipline from a recognized university. Students holding post graduation i.e; master's degree in above mentioned discipline are also eligible. d) Good communication skills along with computer proficiency is also desired. So, having completed M.Sc in IT degree course in distance mode from a recognized university i.e; Mahatma Gandhi University, you are eligible to apply for the IBPS IT officer as per your educational qualification but you must satisfy other requirements too.
