Re: MCom or BEd, which is better to study for BCom student?

You must go with your interest.
If you want to become a teacher, opt for b.ed course.
But if you first want to acquire more knowledge of commerce, go for M.Com.
But, remember if you do b.ed, there will gap of 2 years between B.com and M.com, which will disturb your continuity in your field.

Both b.ed and M.com are 2years duration course.
So, keep all these factors in mind, choose your next step. Good luck

First you need to decide whether you want to pursue Master of Commerce or Bachelor of Education course. Make your mind whether you want to go for higher studies course or professional course for teaching job.

This will make your next step clear. Following the trend you must go for M.Com course for higher studies. For B.Ed, you must have minimum of 50% marks.

Bachelor of Commerce candidate must go for Master of Commerce course.

After Master of Commerce course they can apply for National Eligibility Test. The minimum percentage of marks required is 55% in post graduate course.

You must go for M.Com course.

After completing B.Com degree you can either choose M.Com or B.Ed. You are eligible for choosing both the degrees.

M.Com (Master of Commerce) is a post graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 2 years.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is a graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 2 years.

Choosing M.Com or B.Ed will depend upon your interest. If your aim is to become a government teacher then you can choose B.Ed degree. If you wanted to focus on your core subjects then you can study M.Com degree.
Based on your interest on subjects you choose any one of the degree. Both the degrees have good job opportunities and the salary given for both the degrees is also high.

Both the course M.Com or B.Ed have better opportunities and have different scope.

While B.Ed qualification is mandatory for candidates who want to get teaching recruitment jobs.

Candidates with M.Com qualification are eligible for NET examination and other examination in future.

So, I will suggest to select the course according to your interest.

The best course for Bachelor of Commerce candidate is Master's degree in Commerce for higher studies. Other than that you can go for Master of Business Administration.

*Admission in MBA course can be obtained through Common Admission Test. You should have at least 50% marks in Bachelor of commerce.

*After M.Com, you can go for National Eligibility Test for Lectureship or Junior Research Fellowship.

*Then, you can go for Bachelor of Education if you want.

If you want to become teacher in coming future then you must apply for Bachelor of Education. The minimum academic qualification is bachelor's degree in any stream with minimum of 50% marks.

For higher studies, master's degree in commerce will be preferred choice. After M.Com with 55% marks, you can apply for NET exam for lectureship. M.Com would be better choice for you.
