Re: How to join NDA after 12th? NDA stands for National Defence Academy and UPSC conducts entrance examination for recruitment of candidates in defence services. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for examination. For recruitment in Air Force and Navy the stream in 12th must be PCM. The candidates have to appear and qualify in both stages Written and SSB for final recruitment for NDA. For detail information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

To join Indian Army through NDA entrance exam: NDA stands for National Defence Academy This entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and September. You just need to qualify the entrance exam and in this way you will be selected for personal interview and if you clear that then you will have to show your physical fitness and after that you will be eligible to join the army wing. |

Re: How to join NDA after 12th? To join NDA the basic qualification required in 12th standard with science stream with PCM from a recognised board with minimum 60% marks. Moreover a candidate who has completed 12 standard with commerce stream is eligible to apply for army wing through NDA exam. You have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of March and September. If you will be able to qualify the entrance exam then you will be taken for physical test and personal interview. So try your best. |

Candidates who have completed their intermediate in PCM group from a recognized board are eligible to give this exam. Your age should be in between 16.5 years ro 19.5 years. Following requirement need to fill in order to appear for exam: 1]Candidate should have to clear 12th with physics, chemistry,mathematics with English or any other equivalent qualification from recognized board. 2]Candidate should be minimum be between 17 to 21 years of age. 3]Candidate should not married until they complete their full training.
