The division of candidates into creamy and non creamy layer of Other Backward Class category is done on basis of income level of parents.

Non creamy layer candidates are eligible for relaxation and reservation benefits.

Parent's income is considered and it is 8 lacs per annum.

The income criteria of parents is considered while deciding whether a candidate belongs to creamy or non creamy layer of Other Backward Class. The present income limit deciding both is 8 lakhs per annum.

Now candidates whose parent's income is below 8 lacs per annum is under non creamy layer eligible for reservation benefits.

The income criteria of parents is selected for decision whether a candidate belongs to OBC creamy or non creamy layer. Husband's income is not taken into account.

The present criteria is that if you parents income is less than 8 lacs per annum, you belong to non creamy of OBC otherwise you belong to OBC criteria.

Parent or Husband, whose income should be consider to get a job in government sector?

I'm a female aspirant and looking for job in government sector. Whose income (whether the parents' or husband's) has to be taken into account to get job in government by wife?
