As far as you are concerned about the minimum percentage of marks required in Class 10th in order to opt Science for your Class 11th and Class 12th studies then their is no such requirement under any board of education as the selection of stream for higher secondary school degree is completely dependent on the student's personal strength and interest.

But, few institutes do have some certain norms for distribution of stream for higher secondary school degree for students who want to seek admission in these institutes.

There is no minimum required aggregate to get admission in science stream. And the required aggregate to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 10th from a recogised board.

The required eligibility varies with school. So, visit the official website to get detail information.

The minimum percentage of marks in class tenth required to get admission in 11th science stream is passing percentage of marks that is 40% marks.

However, for admission in good and top schools of science stream in 11th stream, you should aim to score as high as possible.

As there is no minimum required aggregate decided by any board to get admission in science stream so candidates passed 10th from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in science stream.

Although due to limited number of seats for each stream in various school the required criteria is decided by the school. So, kindly visit the school to get detail for admission.

I wanted to know that how much percentage is required for the class 10th students to get the Science stream easily without facing any hurdles to choose the stream as they wish under CBSE and ICSE board of education?
