Re: Can I do BCA after completing diploma? Yes, you are eligible to do BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) after completing diploma. In order to pursue the BCA (Bachelors of Computer Application) course, the candidates will have to fulfil the given below eligibility criteria: The candidate must have passed 12th in any stream or equivalent from a recognized board. The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are in their final year of degree can also apply for admission. |

Dear friend Yes you are eligible to do BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) course after passing 12th class or diploma course with 50% marks after your 10th class. BCA is fully computer based course so if you have interest and command on computer then you should try to do this course otherwise there is no more benefits. After BCA you can do MCA or any other master degree as per your eligibility and interest. |

Re: Can I do BCA after completing diploma? If you have completed your 3year diploma in engineering in any stream with minimum 50% marks. After completing 10th examination or 2/1 year diploma in computer application after intermediate ,then you are eligible for admission to BCA course. |

Those who have completed 3 year diploma course after matriculation are also eligible for BCA Course. For admission you must have passed in 3 year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic recognized institution with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. BCA Course will give you knowledge of computer programming and programming language. The admission in this course is based on CET (Common entrance test) as well as on the basis of management quota (Direct admission). If you want to take admission in top colleges, then for this you have to clear the CET Examination. Well, Some colleges will provide you direct admission in 2nd year of BCA Course after completing 3 year diploma course. Diploma holders are eligible for the Lateral Entry entrance test to get admission directly in 2nd year. For this you have to contact the college in which you want to take admission. Some university/colleges will give you admission through lateral entry after diploma. If you have completed your 3 year diploma in engineering in any stream with minimum 50% marks after completing 10th examination OR 2 year/1 Year diploma in computer application after Intermediate (12th) then you are eligible for admission to BCA Course. For more details please contact the college in which you want to take admission. |
