Re: To do correspondence MBA is it necessary to write CAT and MAT? CAT and MAT stand for Common Admission Test and Management Aptitude Test respectively. These exams are all-India tests conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India including the IIMs. But as you want to do correspondence MBA course, you need not to appear in above mentioned exams. You can directly apply to some top ranked universities like IGNOU , Annamalai University etc.. Selection is based on BBA course marks. |

The entrance examination are held for the admission in good collages.The admission of any one is based on the marks as well as the rank which is opting by the candidate. However there are many colleges/ university like Ignou which does not take any entrance just by registration you can get the admission. |

Is it necessary to write CAT or MAT for good Mba College In case you are going to take admission (whether its a correspondence or a regular course) in a sub standard college then your graduation degree might be enough for your admission..but if you are planning to take admission in a good college and you really want your degree to be worth something then yes,it is very important that you should appear for CAT and MAT.. The best colleges of India will be covered under CAT whereas the good colleges shall be covered under MAT.. The MAT exam takes place 4 times a year in the months of February,June,September and December and its relatively easy to get through with a good score in MAT.. Hi dear, The score of CAT and MAT exams are utilized for admission in regular classroom programs in MBA or equivalent courses in various business schools. Apart from that there are many management entrance exams conducted by various private and governmental institutions separately. The admission to correspondence MBA is not done by any of these entrance exams. Some institutions conduct separate entrance exam and some offer direct admission. The procedure and criteria varies from college to college. You can do correspondence course from IGNOU and SMU. These are one of the good options for doing correspondence MBA. Hello, For the correspondence MBA course there is no need to appear for the any of entrance test as CAT, MAT, ZAT,GMAT etc. These entrance test are only for the regular classroom test. If you are really interested to do correspondence MBA courses then IGNOU is the best option for you. IGNOU conducts their own entrance test known as OPEN MAT. For applying for open MAT you must have graduate degree. |

Re: To do correspondence MBA is it necessary to write CAT and MAT? this is not must that if you want to do MBA then you have to appear in MBA entrance examination. if you have good MBA entrance examination score like CAT score or MAT score then you will get opportunity to take admission in a good institution. otherwise you have to take in low ranking institution. but you can take admission in correspondence MBA without appearing in any entrance examination. |

Friend, If you want to do MBA with correspondence,then there is no need to Qualifiy CAT and Mat entrance exam.you can get direct addmission in any college accroding to your wish. CAT and MAT entrance exam is for regular addmission. you can do it with any university or institute which have correspondence programes for MBA. |

If you wanna to opt MBA as correspondence course then you can apply for the correspondence course directly in recognized universities like- IGNOU ,Makhanlal university etc. OK, best of luck. |
