Re: What is the minimum age bracket to appear CBSE 10th exam? **As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination. **The student seeking admission to Class X Board examination has to satisfy the requirement of age limits (minimum and maximum) as Determined by the State/UT government and applicable to the place where the school is located. Minimum age on 31st march of same year of admission- 14 years Maximum age on 31st march of same year of admission- 16 years |

A candidate can at most attempt 3 times for CBSC board exam.But also many of the senior citizens complete their studies at a old age. |

As per rules of CBSE, to appear for board exam of 10th board exam, student must have studied upto 8th standard and register for board exam in ninth standard. After registration, he can appear for board exam next years. Your son also needs to meet same criteria. |

The minimum age limit to appear in CBSE board exam:- There is a certain age criteria required for appearing in CBSE board based examination. The basic age criteria is considered as on 31st March of the year of admission sought. Most of the students in the age group of 14 to 16 are only appearing for the tenth examination. |

So, kindly visit the concerned office for the detail information. As per CBSE there is no information regarding the minimum age criteria. |

However at the time of admission student should have satisfy the requirements of the age limits(minimum/maximum) as determined by state/U. T government and applicable to the place where the school is located. You can find this explanation in FAQ section of CBSE board website. |

The minimum age limit criteria is decided by the Directorate of State Education Board. So, kindly visit the same for the detail information about the eligibility. |

The minimum age limit to register for CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years as on 1st October of that year in which candidate got admitted to his/her Class 10th. So, as per the date of birth mentioned by you, your son will not face any issues associated to his age when registering for CBSE Class 10th board examination.
