Re: Possibility to study BCA after Intermediate from Commerce stream? BCA is a 3 years vocational course in computer application. You must complete +2 with minimum qualifying marks. Having maths in +2 is mandatory. |

Re: Possibility to study BCA after Intermediate from Commerce stream? The answer is yes. But you must know some facts before you start working on admission process! BCA is a Bachelor's Degree course which any stream students can pursue (Science, Commerce and Arts) after completing 12th schooling from a recognized Board. |

The required eligibility to get admission in BCA course, it is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in any stream. The required eligibility to appear for the examination varies with institute. So, kindly visit the official website to get detail information. If you are not comfortable with regular course you can take admission in distance course. |

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications and it is a professional degree course with a very good career scope in software and IT industry world. The minimum education required to apply for BCA degree course is a higher secondary school degree from a recognised board of education. Mathematics or Computer science is required as main subjects in case of admission to some institutes. So, having completed your Class 12th even in Commerce stream, you are eligible to pursue BCA degree course from IGNOU or other universities offering admission in BCA degree course to candidates having completed their Class 12th without Mathematics or Computer science. |

Possibility to study BCA after Intermediate from Commerce stream? I have completed my Intermediate from Commerce stream. Now, is it possible to study BCA? Can't I take admission in IGNOU or any university offering BCA via distance mode of education? |
