Minimum age for 10th class is 15 years as per CBSE guidelines and to do 10th class, first of all your daughter need to pass 9th class. As your daughter is right now in 5th standard, let her pass all the classes before doing 10th board.

Re: Minimum age for appearing in 10th std in CBSE?

The minimum age to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which candidate got admitted to his/her Class 10th.

So, being born on 3rd July 2009 and currently pursuing her Class 5th, your daughter is likely to appear in her Class 10th board examination in March 2024 and getting admitted to her Class 10th in April 2023.

Further, as per the age criteria mentioned above, your daughter's age will be more than 14 years as on 01.10.2023 and so she will be eligible to appear in her Class 10th board examination in 2024 without any issues concerning to her age.

Re: Minimum age for appearing in 10th std in CBSE?

As per the guidelines of Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age for pursuing 10th standard exam is 14 years. However there is no upper age limit for appear in the exam. The age will be calculated on 31st of December of the year of admission. Also i suggest you to visit to school campus to get more information about these guidelines.

Thus according to guidelines your daughter is not eligible for appearing in 10th exam.
