Computer science is a part of the subjects which comes u der the science stream or one among the subjects which the students science stream pursue. Today with the digital revolution,you can imagine nothing with internet and computers and so is the cope of computer science in India. To pursue computer science you need to take science in your 11-12th boards and then either opt for BSc-MSc in computer science or you can go for computer engineering. No, there is no availability of Computer Science as a stream for intermediate studies as such Science, Commerce, and Humanities but you can opt for a Computer Science as a subject with various other subject combination options for your higher secondary school degree course. |

As in graduation, you choose subjects like social science, hindi, english, geography. In science you choose physics, chemistry or biology or mathematics. If you have mathematics in 12th and you want to pursue b.tech then computer science will become a branch of engineering. The root will be Science. |
