Re: How to do B.Tech through lateral entry from Osmania University? B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) is a 4 years under graduation. The candidates who have done their diploma will be able to get admission directly into 2nd year through lateral entry. The eligibility required to get lateral entry are mentioned below. The candidates who wanted to join in B.Tech through lateral entry need to fulfill few eligibility requirements i.e., the candidate should complete their diploma/ polytechnic course in related stream with minimum 50% from any recognised university. The candidate should also apply, attend and qualify in the entrance exam named TS ECET (Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test). After qualifying in the TS ECET exam you should be in the merit list so that you'll be able to get admission. |

Re: How to do B.Tech through lateral entry from Osmania University? Once you complete your diploma degree in electronics and telecommunication you need to sit in AP ECET entrance exam of Andhra Pradesh where on rank basis you will be allot college seats recognized by Osmania University. |
