Re: Possibility to secure Lateral BTech Electrical admission for Computer Engineering Diploma student? You are eligible to get admission in lateral entry in 2nd year of B.Tech course after diploma course. But, you are not eligible to get admission in Electrical engineering. As, you have passed diploma in Computer engineering, you are only eligible to get admission in B.Tech in Electrical engineering through lateral entry. |

Candidates passed diploma in engineering are eligible to get admission in B.Tech course through lateral entry. So, you are eligible to get admission in B.Tech course. But, you are not eligible to change the stream and so not eligible for admission in electrical engineering course. |

Re: Possibility to secure Lateral BTech Electrical admission for Computer Engineering Diploma student? Candidates passed Diploma course are eligible to get admission in B.Tech 2nd year course. If you want to get admission in Electrical engineering course in B.Tech, the required eligibility is that :- Candidate must have passed diploma course from a recognised institute. Candidate must have passed diploma in electrical engineering course. So, you are not eligible to get admission after the computer science course. |

Diploma is three year course and candidates after the course are eligible to get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech course but not eligible to change the stream. So, you are eligible to get admission in Computer engineering only through lateral entry. |

Possibility to secure Lateral BTech Electrical admission for Computer Engineering Diploma student? Hello friends, I am studying Diploma course in Computer Engineering. But after completing my Diploma course, I want to get Lateral admission in BTech with Electrical Engineering. So, is it possible to me to secure seat for Electrical Engineering? |
