But there is only average age limit declared and on that basis admission process is done. At this very age if your child has capability and merit then you can admit her in 3rd standard. |

Re: Age limit for class 3rd admission in CBSE affiliated schools? Your child must have attained the age of 5 years as of 31st March of the same year to seek admission in First standard. As per this, the age of the child required for 3 standard is 8 years as of 31st March of the same year in which admission is taken. As per the central board of secondary education (CBSE) guidelines, the minimum age to appear in the 10th board examination is 14 years , as of 31st March of the same year. |

Re: Age limit for class 3rd admission in CBSE affiliated schools? The age criteria required to apply for admission to 3rd standard in CBSE affiliated school is 7 years 6 months. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your son is 7 years 6 months old as of now, so, he is eligible to get admission in 3rd standard in CBSE affiliated school. |

Re: Age limit for class 3rd admission in CBSE affiliated schools? According to the age criteria given by the Central Board of secondary Education for school admission. The minimum age to get admission in 1st standard is 5 years and maximum age is 7 years as of 31st march of the same year in which admission is granted. As per this, your daughter was in class 1 in the year 2017 and in March 2019, she will be in Class 3rd standard in 2027, she will be in class 10th. The minimum age required to attend the board examinations for class 10th is 15 years. However, the maximum age is 17 years as of 31st March of the same year. |
