Hello Dear, Generally all the MNCs consider 1 year gap in the complete education career with no year lack in Engineering. However this criteria varies from company to company. Please make sure there should not be any gap in Engineering and the BTech degree should complete in 4 years. Try to grab all the opportunities he will get and definitely he will grab a good offer. |

There will be no problem for him when is eligible for campus recruitment drives. 1. In IT MNCs, students of consecutive two years gap between studies are not allowed to sit for recruitment drives. 2. Apart from this, he must have 60% marks throughout his studies. 3. He must not have any backlog in bachelor's degree. |

In most of multinational companies for CSE, IT stream, following eligibility criteria is observed: >>Candidate must have done 10th, 12th and bachelor's degree from a recognized board. >>Minimum of 60% marks throughout studies. >>No standing backlogs in bachelor's degree. >>Maximum of two years of academic gap between studies allowed. Your brother will face no problem. |

First of all, companies mainly visit the renowned universities for placement because there are some brilliant students. So if your brother studies in any good college, companies will visit college for placements. Now, the merit and intelligence in the current course of Engineering is vital to get selected. So, gaps in education is not a vital thing. If your brother is enough consistent in the present course, he will get placement for sure. |

Is there any problem during placement for BTech(CSE) student who has a year both after 10th and 12th? Hi everyone, my brother had 1 year gap after 10th and again a year gap after 12th as well. Now, he is pursuing BTech with CSE branch. I just want to know that will it creates any problem during the placement? |
