CA CPT stands for Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test. It is conducted twice every year by ICAI. The minimum qualification required for this test is 12th passed from a recognized board.

You can apply for the CPT exam at official website of ICAI. There is no notification at present for CA CPT. You need to wait for next notification.

To join Chartered Accountancy course minimum qualification required is 10+2 in any of Commerce or Science stream.
Now, CA's Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is considered as CA's Foundation. To apply for that you have to registered in Regional Councils.

The acronym CA CPT stands for Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test.

Eligibility criteria for CA CPT:

1. You must have minimum academic qualification of 12th from a recognized board.

You can apply for CA CPT examination after 12th.

You can get more information about CA CPT at ICAI official website.

I wanted to join Chartered Accountancy course. So, what is the minimum qualification required to be eligible for CA's Common Proficiency Test (CPT)? How can I apply for that? What is the admission charges?
