Re: Steps to be taken after 12th to join in Navy? After completing class 12th one can join the Indian navy as an officer by applying for the NDA examination. The exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC and generally held in the month of April and September. After clearing the exam one can become a officer in the Indian Navy. |

Its goods to know that, you want to serve the nation .after 12th,for apply in Indian navy, you should apply for NDA (national defense academy) examination, conducted by UPSC (union public service commission),. this commission conducts this examination every year for two times,. for appear NDA examination , you must have 12th degree from a recognized college,. also you must have subjects PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY passed with 60%. How To Join The Indian Navy After 12th In order to join the Indian Navy after 12th..you need to appear in the NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam which is conducted twice a year in the months of April and August.. The next NDA exam will be conducted on 15th April,2012 for which the forms shall be available from 30th December,2012 till 30th January,2012.. Eligibility Criteria :- In order to appear for the NDA exam..you need to fulfill the following conditions :- 1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join Navy or Air Force) 2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years The written exam shall test you on the following things :- English Basic Maths General Knowledge You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination.. all the best.. Hello friend, Since you have qualified +2 level of examination and willing to join the Indian Navy, you should first of all, apply for the NDA Exam conducted by the union public service commission. To be eligible for the exam, apart from being qualified +2 level of exam, you must have studied physics and mathematics in the +2 level and must be within the age limit of 16 1/2 -19 years. Once you qualify the NDA exam, you will have to undergo necessary training for a minimum period of time and will come out as an officer. For more information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |

Dear Friend If you have done 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and you are below 19 years, then you should apply for NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. http://upsc.gov.in/ There are two kinds of entry in Indian Navy (a) Officers Entry (b) Sailors Entry The NDA is a kind of Officers Entry. The other examinations for officers entry are, Combined Defence Service Examination and Short Service Commission exam. Also, separate exams are conducted for logistics department. Visit the Nausena Bharti website http://nausena-bharti.nic.in/officer1.php Click on the link OFFICER ENTRY and/or SAILOR ENTRY to select a job as per your interest and qualification. Re: Steps to be taken after 12th to join in Navy? dear friend, Yes, my friend you can join in Indian Navy after completion of 12th through NDA exam. If you qualify the exam then they will call you for the SSB interview session.. After clearing the interview , you will get a chance to join in Indian Navy... Eligibility for Indian Navy:- 1.One must have complete the 12th in science having physics , chemistry and maths... 2.One must have secure 60% marks in 12th... 3.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years..
