You have to appear for CSE exam conducted by UPSC , after selection choose IPS cadre. The eligibility for IPS exam is as follows: -Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. -Age limit: 21-30yrs. |

You can write UPSC civils scrvice examination. You can apply with two way . You can apply by post or you can apply for this examination online. Its not a matter to got a percentage. if you have a bachlor degree any recognized university. Here you will have inspirational attitude. Here test can be conducted in 3 ways. they are priliminary test main test and then finally interview. If you must pass thee 3 tests.otherwise you are not eligible. Re: Can I apply for IPS exam if I am having less than 50% in graduation? yes, you can apply for ips exam. eligibility required for ips exam.. you have to pass your graduation, if you are the student of b.tech then you have to pass your b.tech in civil engineering or electrical or mechanical. age for applying...21yrs to 30 yrs. % doesn't matter.. get coaching from a good coaching center. may you achieve your target. all the best ..... |

The eligibility for the IPS/IAS exam will be graduation from recognized university and the age limit should be from 21 to 30 years. There will be 5% of relaxation for the reserved candidate. So, don't get worried about your marks as you are eligible for IPS exam. You can collect the application for from any banks or from Employment news. UPSC civil services exam puts no minimum criteria on marks, you just have to be a pass in graduation or in final year of your graduation from a recognized college or university. so go and apply for CSE if you want. your 50% is good enough |

Yes you are eligible to take civil service exam which is conducted by UPSC every year to select students for the post of IPS,IAS and other services and there is no problem in it as they only want graduate students there is no criteria of marks .So it mean that your percentage does not matter .If you clear the exam you will get preference on the basis of your rank not on the basis of marks . Eligibility for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM You must have got degree from recognized college or institute . You must be between 21 to 30 years of you belong to general category. Upper age limit of SC/ST is 35 years . Upper age limit of OBC is 33 years . |

Re: Can I apply for IPS exam if I am having less than 50% in graduation? ya of course you can apply with the 50% of the marks in the b.tech degree but then you have to firstly clear all your backlogs before giving the exam of the IPS after claering your backlog you can definitely become eligible for the exam and if you do well in the written and then you qualify for the interview there you will be physically and mentally checked after crossing all these you can become an IPS Officer.... you can get all other details from the link : http://www.upsc.gov.in so best of luck |

percentage will not matter at all for the examination for IPS you should have a degree in the same passion backlogs also doesn't have effect for your chance of getting IPS all you require to pursue career as IPS is a strong determination towards police department,and a strong inspirational attitude to become as a police officer. for this reason only UPSC did not kept any limitation in the sake of marks for these service you don't need to know the algebraic formulas all you need to have is helping nature , attention , desire to serve nation. that's all the basic eligibility criteria for this examination is you should have minimum of 21 years of age and you should have a valid indian degree that's all you can attempt the civil services exam all the best ~A~ |
