Re: Am I eligible to attempt TGT(Maths) after doing B.Com(Hons)? I have done my graduation in bsc (honour) mathematics, can I eligible for tgt maths? Or it is necessary for me to have a b.ED Certificate as well? |

Hello, your are just graduate...if you want to become TGT in maths you should get b.ed degree also (bachelor's in education) b.ed is compulsory in teaching field. For this you clear your entrance exam first for b.ed admission. All the best for your teaching career... |

I want to switch into teaching.what all Subjects do I have to choose in my B ed?? What subject teacher can I be?? How to choose a good b ed institute in Delhi or NCR?? Also planning to do TOEFL. In order to become a TGT (Mathematics) teacher the candidate should have done their graduation in the same subject that is a B.Sc mathematics degree is essential or taken Maths as one of the compulsory subjects. Apart from this the candidate should also have taken the B.Ed degree for fulfilling the eligibility of becoming a teacher in any other government or private schools. All the qualifications should be taken from recognized universities or college. |

TGT is one of the certification course to train the graduates to make them eligible to get teaching jobs. Here, TGT stands for "Trained Graduate Teacher". This course is conducted by many states in India like Haryana, UP, Punjab, Tamil Nadu etc. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream from the recognized University. 2. Maximum age limit: 35 years 3. Grade Pay: 4600-4800/- *First the candidate have to clear out the written test and after that he/she 'll be able to sit in the interview.
