C.B.I. stands for Central Bureau Investigation.
The Exam for C.B.I. is conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

1] The candidate must be completed his degree with 60%.
2] Height of the candidate must be 165 cm.
3] Age limit must be 21- 30 year and there is also relaxation provided to SC/ST and OBC category as per government rule .
4] The candidate must be Indian.

The selection process consist of four steps:
>>Written exam
>>Physical and medical tests
>>Technical round
>>Personal interview

Hello,
To become a CBI you have to go through Entrance exam.
Eligibility criteria
Age- Candidates age should be between 20 years to maximum 27 years
Educational qualification -.Candidates must have bachelor degree from any recognized university.There are relaxation for Reserved category.

1. General studies.
2. Maths
3. English
4. Language
5. communication skill and writing.

The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings which is directly or indirectly devoted for the Investigation, Anti Corruption, Economic Offences, Special Crimes.

Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :-
1) Age :-
Your's age must lie between :-
(a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
(b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc.,
(c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination.
The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of
SC,ST,OBC.

2) Educational Qualification :-
You should have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

CBI Recruitment examination is held generally once a year in the month of February for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation.
Examination Pattern :-

The examination wills consists of two parts:

Part I :-
Written Examination : 400 marks (MCQ Type).

Part II :-
Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

Examination Subjects :-

1) General Test :-
General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 marks).
General Awareness (75 marks).
Numerical Ability (75 marks).

2) English Language :-
Language Comprehension & Communication/Writing Ability Test (200 marks).

To join the CBI, you need to appear for the

Hi,

CBI recruitment is conducted by SSC.

Eligibility to join CBI is candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university.

CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which publishes its recruitment notice in Employment News and other leading dailies.

CBI also inducts officers in the ranks of Inspector of Police and above from the State and Union Territory Police forces on deputation. Non-police officers are also taken on deputation in CBI.

The age criteria is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Selection Procedure:

1. Written test, Joining into CBI is through CGPE i.e Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam
2. Interview and
3. and then Medical Test.

Crime Branch CID (Criminal Investigation Department) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Other branches of the CID are

State Crime Investigation Bureau
Finger Print Bureau
and Scientific Section.

To join in CID you need to write the EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate..

for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

you can join cbi in several ways.
1.SSC-- recruitment exam is conducted every year.
2. UPSC civil services exam-- IPS cadre candidates may get
posted with CBI. Recuitments are made from these cadres for
ASP/DSP king of posts.

then for Inspector level posts there is direct selection from state police service

or police. Notable officers get deputed in CBI.

Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, is conducted for recruitment of sub-inspector in CBI. The examination is regulated and conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
The educational qualification required for the exam is graduate in any discipline. The minimum eligible age, for the exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
The application form is published in all the leading newspapers along with the "Employement News".

CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) examinations is conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission).

How to join CBI or Procedure to join CBI: -
1. Written test,
2. Interview and

CBI posts are:-
