B.Ed is Bachelor in Education. It is one of the requisite qualification to appear for the teacher recruitment examination.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor or master degree from a recognised university.

The minimum required aggregate 50%.

So, you are eligible to get admission in the course and for the course in English.

Entrance examination is conducted by the various institutes for admission in the course.

Yes, you can pursue B.Ed in English after completion of master in English.

Duration of B.Ed after M.A. in English in Culcutta University is 2 years.

The duration of B.Ed in Calcutta University is of 2 years even after completion of Masters course.
Yes, you can opt for English subject as a teaching subject but you will have to opt for one more subject.

What is the duration of B.Ed after completing MA in English?

I want to know the duration of B.E course offered by Calcutta University if I want to pursue it after my MA in English? Would it be of 1 year only? Or, 2 years? And, can I opt for English subject in B.Ed?
