To be a future lecturer you have to qualifyUGC- NET exam.

Eligibility to appear in NET:

-Master's degree in the related subject.

-To apply in government colleges they need to appear in the state level eligibility test and should obtain at least 50% marks.

-There will be an interview or a written test conducted at the time of selection of candidates.

Those who wish to become a college lecturers should have cleared the UGC National Entrance Test. Candidates who have successfully completed this are entitled to submit an application for the post of lecturer.

Eligibility: Candidates should be Indian citizens. They must be experienced in the field of teaching and should have acquired a master's degree in the subject. In order to teach at University, candidate require a PhD. To apply in government colleges, they need to appear in the state level eligibility test and should obtain at least 50% marks. There will be an interview or a written test conducted at the time of selection of the candidates. Those who pass will be selected for the job.

What is the selection procedure of Lecturers in government degree colleges?

Sir, are we eligible to get recruited directly through interview as Lecturers in Government degree colleges after qualifying CSIR (LS) in Life Sciences? If not, then what is the standard selection procedure?
