Re: What is the eligibility criteria for PGT in UP? Dear Friend, For PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) you must be graduate and post graduate and must have B.Ed. You must have master degree in related subject in which you will apply with a minimum of 50% for General and OBC and 45% for SC/ST. Your age must not be below 21 years in order to apply for PGT. The maximum age limit must be 40 years. Thank You. |

Dear friend, Essential qualifications for pgt teacher are Graduation from recognize university with 50% and post graduate degree with 50%. 2 years b. ed degree You have to give tet exam. Syllabus of your tet exam Total marks 150.time -2.30hrs There is total 5 parts in tet exam. 1.bengali 2.english 3.psychology 4.60 marks of your subject. You have to get 60% marks means 90marks out of 150. After qualifying you get a tet pass certificate with 7 years validity. Good luck. |

These are those professional teachers that are hired by various colleges and the universities along with the Schools for the high level teaching purposes. The most famous exam for these posts is the "UP-PGT EXam". To be eligible for the exam: *The candidate must be a post graduate in any discipline of science/arts/commerce *The candidate must be a B.Ed degree holder also along with the post graduate degree. *The candidate must have a teaching experience of atleast 10 years *The candidate's age must be inbetween 40 to 55 years The PGT teacher is eligible to teach the High secondatry classes mainly the 11th and 12th in the following subjects: *English *Maths *physics *Chemistry *Biology *Computer science *Economics *Accounts *Business studies |
