The minimum qualification required for Air Hostess is that candidate must have done 12th from a recognized board. English must be one of the compulsory subject. Other than this, important requirement is fluency in English, good personality and better traits of hospitality. |

Eligibility criteria to become an Air Hostess are given below:- Aspirant should have passed Intermediate degree as well as degree in Hospitality graduate degree. Aspirant age should be 18 years to 26 years. Mastery in spoken English and other foreign languages. Height should be 157.5 cms. Eligible for an Indian passport. Aspirant should be unmarried. 6/24 vision in each eye. Aspirant should have fair to clear complexion. |

Air Hostess Eligibility - You must have passed bachelor's degree in hotel management and tourism course. - Your age should be between 18 to 25 years. - Minimum height should be 157.5 cms for girls and 167.5 cms for boys. Weight should be in proportion to height. - You should have mastery in spoken Hindi, English and Any other foreign language. To pursue Air Hostess, you have to undergo any of the below diploma/degree courses:- Air Hostess Training BBA ( Aviation ) So to study the above courses you need the below qualities like---> Confident Pleasant & friendly personality Clear speech and voice Team worker Patience Quick to find solutions Good Communication Skills Good appearance Sense of Responsibility Also you should have a balanced weight with height. |

No, there is no such rule for becoming air hostess because the educational qualification required is 10+2 from any stream. The full details about eligibility are mentioned below. Eligibility criteria: - The candidate should clear their 10+2 or equivalent education in any stream from any recognized board. - The height required is 157 Cms (5.2"). The weight should be proportional to the height. - Unmarried candidates are eligible for air hostess. - Physically & mentally fit. - The eye sight should be 6/9. - Good in communication skills. |

Eligibility criteria for Air Hostess are as under:- -The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent or Graduation in any discipline. -The minimum age limit should be in between 19 years to 27 years. Physical Requirements : Height : For female candidate : 157.5 cms and For male candidate : 163 cms. Weight : in proportionate with height. Eyesight : 6/24 in each eye.Correctable to at least 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye. -The candidate must be proficient in Hindi, English and any other foreign languages. -The candidate should have fair to clear complexion. -The candidate should be medically fit and must have Indian Passport. |

Eligibility criteria: -Candidate must passed 10+2. Literally airlines prefer graduates or Diploma holder candidates. -Candidate must have a good communication skill. -Candidate should have smart, pleasant and dynamic personality. -Candidate should be polite and of helping nature. -Candidate must have fluency in foreign language. -Candidate should be Unmarried(not applicable in all airlines). -Should have good presence of mind. -Leadership quality -Team work capability. Do not worry about Mathematics as it is not a mandatory to be taken just keep your eyes in these points and go through the eligibility criteria. |

Hi, It is so nice that you want to pursue a career in Airline Industry and want to become an Air hostess. It is a very rewarding and exciting career option and the growth in this sector is tremendous. Airline industry is booming in India and many career options are available, Air hostess being one of them. Becoming an Air Hostess has following requirements - 1. Height - This is the most look after factor. Make sure you are tall enough to reach the cabin space overhead passenger seat which is around 7 feet so your height must be 5.2 Ft or tall. 2. 12th Pass - You must be at least 12th pass for applying to the course. 3. Communication skills - Your communication skills are to be very good to be in the industry. 4. Attitude - Positive attitude and hardworking people are preferred in the industry. MATHS IS NOT REQUIRED AT ALL BUT MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT. Thanks |

Is it true that Maths subject is mandatory to be taken to become an air hostess in future? Is It true Maths subject is mandatory to be taken to become an air hostess in future? I am bad at maths and I wanted to know if it's really needed or not for me to become an air hostess. Can you please give me the details on the same? Thanks! |
