The duration of the course is for two years and the course is divided into four semesters. To apply for MA in English course then you have to score minimum 50% of marks. So, if you score more than 50% of marks definitely you may get admission in MA in English course. The admission for MA in English course is based on the Entrance Examination scores. There are lot of institutions conduct entrance examination with in the college. Eligibility for admission in MA in political science is a: Bachelor's degree in any stream preferably in Arts and Humanities Candidates from graduation in any other streams can also apply Minimum marks required 45% to 50%in graduation The minimum pass percentage is higher for Non Humanities course. |

Re: Can I do MA English after BA Political Science? Usually, it is supposed that a candidate must have pursued the same subject in Bachelor's which they want in Masters. Some colleges and institutes do provide this facility so yes you can apply for MA English. |

Re: Can I do MA English after BA Political Science? No , as per UGC norms it is impossible. You have to stick to Political Science. After completion of B.ed you can apply for PGT teacher posts. Or you can apply for UPSC civil service examination ( only graduation required) . There are no specific govt jobs for MA political science candidates. Various corporate sectors recruit political science student as policy analyst. |
