AFCAT examination is conducted for recruitment of officer in Indian Air Force.

The required minimum educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 60% aggregate.

So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination. Examination is conducted in two stages for final selection.

The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is held twice every year by Indian Air Force for selection of candidates into different branches of Indian Air Force:

1. Flying branch.

2. Technical branch.

3. Ground Duty branch.

The minimum academic qualification required for Ground Duty branch is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized stream with minimum of 60% marks.

You can not apply for AFCAT exam with less than 60% marks in bachelor's degree.

Having completed your graduation degree course with less than 60% marks ( i.e; 59.02% ) , you are not eligible to appear in AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) for joining Flying branch or Ground duty branch of Indian Airforce as the minimum percentage of marks in aggregate required in Class 12th and graduation degree in concerned discipline to appear in AFCAT is 60%.
