Re: What should be minimum score in 12th Science paper to be eligible for NEET? To fullfill the NEET eligibility criteria, you must have passed in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English. If you belong to general category you should have have to score a minimum of 50% in class 12th or HSC exam. In case of belonging to scheduled caste / schedule tribe or other backward classes should score a minimum of a 40% in their class 12th aur HSC examination. |

Re: What should be minimum score in 12th Science paper to be eligible for NEET? NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. NEET is a national level examination for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in different medical colleges of India. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for NEET exam is 12th passed from a recognized board with PCB subjects. Science stream candidates with PCM subjects can not apply for NEET exam. Minimum of 50% marks is required to apply for NEET or JEE Main for engineering colleges. |

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed std 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper. So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination after std 12th in PCM. Examination is conducted by AIIMS, JIPMER, for admission in MBBS course. |

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and the minimum education required to appear in the same examination is Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in PCB group subject combination from a recognised board. Marks relaxation upto 10% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category. So, having not managed even 45% marks in PCB combination in your Class 12th, you are eligible to appear in NEET only if you belong to reserved category and that too if your marks in PCB subject combination is 40%. Apart from NEET, there are two other entrance examination held for admission to MBBS degree course in concerned institutes which are AIIMS MBBS entrance examination and JIPMER MBBS entrance examination. Also, the minimum education required for appearing in these examinations is same as that required for NEET. |

NEET is conducted by NTA for admission in MBBS and BDS courses of different medical colleges of India. 1. To apply for NEET exam, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject in 12th standard. Minimum of 50% marks in board exam is required. 2. You cannot apply for NEET exam with less than 50% marks and PCM subject group. Even for engineering courses, minimum of 50% marks in board exam is required. |

What should be minimum score in 12th Science paper to be eligible for NEET? I don't have 45% in my Science stream 12th Board exam with subject combination of PCM. So, am I eligible for NEET entrance examination? Which are the other similar entrance exams available? |
