Re: What is the qualification for DSP and how to study for it? DSP stands for Deputy Superitendent of Police. The educational qualifications required for the DSP are mentioned below:- 1. Candidates must have completed their graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised colleges or, university. 2. Nationality:- Indian. 3. Age limit:- 21-30 years. 4. Age Relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 5. Physically and mentally fit. |

Candidate who want to become DSP sit for examination conducted by UPSC.Candidate must have a Graduation Degree from a recognized university. Candidate age should be between 21 years to 30 years.For OBC Candidate age should be between 21 years to 33 years and 21 to 35 years for SC/ST candidates. There are 4 attempts for this exam for general candidate,7 attempts for OBC and no limit for SC/ST Candidates. The selection of the candidates are on the basis of Prelims exam,Main Exam and Interview. Height of OBC Male candidate should be 165 cm and womens 157 cm.For SC/St candidate height should be 163 cm for mens and 155 cm for Womens. For More details please---- CLICK HERE |

Re: What is the qualification for DSP and how to study for it? DSP stand for Deputy superintendent of police. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate must have be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not have attained the age of 30 (thirty) years on the first of January when the ads are posted. There is a relaxation for 5 years for SC/ST. There is a minimum physical requirement for becoming a state police officer. Minimum height requirement for men are 168 cms and for women is 155 cms. There is also minimum chest requirement of 84 cms and chest expansion of 5 cms. |
