Yes, you are eligible to appear for the examination conducted by RRB for final selection.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed diploma from a recognised institution.

The minimum age limit is 18 years. There is relaxation for the reserved category in upper age limit.

So, you are eligible to appear in the examination. For examination syllabus and other details visit at www.rrb.gov.in.

Since, you have completed Diploma in Electronics and communication, so you are eligible for Loco Pilot job in Indian Railways.

You have to appear for RRB Locopilot entrance exam that is conducted in two phases.

Firstly, you will have to crack Written Exam that will contain questions related to 11th and 12th standard of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Then, after qualifying written exam, you will have qualify Personal Interview.

After qualifying these two stages, you will become LocoPilot trainee in Indian Railways.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must complete minimum 10th standard.

Candidate should have done ITI in any specific trade to apply for the post.

Candidate who have completed the Diploma in Engineering are also eligible.

Therefore, you are eligible

How can I become a Loco Pilot in Indian Railways after passing my Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering? Do I need to write any entrance or do I need to study any further course?
