Re: Vocational courses after 10th hi dear, JUST OUT OF SCHOOL WHAT NEXT? Most of the students after passing out S.S.C think of joining Higher Secondary (Intermediate) Studies. But if a student is inclined for other alternative courses, he can all together take a new course in his life. Not just joining intermediate but, there are so many other courses, which leads to good career. here is some options exclusively for you. In 1986, under the national policy of education, the Government had started vocationalising the education. Since most of the courses pursued by a student have practically little relevance to his future career path, the need for introduction of Vocational courses at high school and Higher Secondary level was severely felt. In Andhra Pradesh, the Board of Intermediate Education is conducting Vocational courses in certain Junior Colleges, all over Andhra Pradesh. Vocational Courses can be classified broadly as follows: VOCATIONAL COURSE Engineering Technology 1. Surveyor & Estimator 2. Toads & Building Construction Technician 3. Water Supply & Sanitary Engineering Technician 4. Watch & Clock Repairing Technology. 5. Radio & T.V.Technician 6. Electrical (Domestic) Appliances & Rewinding 7. Electrical Wiring and Contracting 8. Rural Engineering Technician 9. Automobile Engineering Technician 10. Computer Science 11. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician 12. Sugar Technology Agriculture 1. Crop Production 2. Sericulture 3. Dairying 4. Fruit Preservation 5. Poultry and Swine Production 6. Fisheries Health and Paramedical Sciences 1. Dental Hygienist 2. Dental Technician 3. Medical Lab Assistant 4. Diploma in Pharmacy 5. Nursing 6. X-ray Technician 7. Opthalmic Technician Home Science 1. Bakery and Confectionery 2. Creche and Pre-School Management 3. Commercial Garment Making 4. Re: Vocational courses after 10th HELLO FRIEND congrats for securing such a good mark on ur 10th standard..now there are ample of oppurtunity for you waiting ahead..u can choose any of the stream tha attracts u the most..or in my suggestion I think that diploma courses is the best for you. After completing 10th std. you can take admission in the diploma courses by the entrance examination conducted by college/University. Or you can also do 11tha and 12th class. Now depend on you in which field you are more interested. In which field your interest is more then you can take admission in that field. |
