TET is conducted by different state government.CTET is conducted by central government.Both are For teacher Employees.

There is not more difference between the CTET and the TET. CTET stands for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and through this entrance the candidate are recruited as a teacher in the central government schools such as in the Kendriya Vidyalay or the Jawahar Novadaya Vidyalaya.

But through the TET conducted by the different states as well as the central government. If the state conduct the examination it is known as STET and through this the candidate are recruited as a teacher in the state government schools.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidate must have Bachelor of Education from the recognised university
