Re: Can maths students do B.Pharma? Dear Friend, B.pham is a type medical related course. You must pass plus two science stream. I don't know what you mean about 'Maths student' plus two science stream contain maths also.I think you mention about that.So you can apply for B.pham science stream subjects are- physics, chemistry, biology, maths, English, & Any 1 st language |

Re: Can maths students do B.Pharma? B-Pharmacy stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy. This is a Phamra related course being offered by number of Pharmaceutical colleges in India. One can join B-Pharmacy course in 2 ways. One way is through the completion of 12th class. After completion of 12th class, the candidate should give Entrance Exam to join B-Pharmacy course. In this way, the duration of B-Pharmacy course will be 4 years. The other way is through Lateral Entry scheme. In this way, the candidates who have completed Diploma course are eligible to give the Entrance Exam and to directly join 2nd year of B-Pharmacy course. So, it will take just 3 years to complete the course. But the thing is that Diploma course will take 2 years to complete. Yes. Maths students are eligible to join B-Pharmacy course. But it would be better for the candidates if they have gone through Life Science subjects like Botany Zoology in their 10+2 so that they won't face much challenges with respect to terminology.
