You can choose any subject of your choice at 10+2 level. This exam is open to students from all backgrounds. Therefore I would recommend you to give preference to those subjects which are your strengths and will help you to score high marks in the boards exam. This will help you to have more options to choose from.

CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

You need to complete Higher Secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
You have to get not less than 50% of marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.
For the reserved category candidates there is some relaxation again. They need to get 45% of marks.
Upper age limit for General and OBC candidates is 20 years and for SC/ST candidates it is 22 years.

Exam Pattern:

English including Comprehension: 40 marks
General Knowledge/ Current Affairs: 50 marks
Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 marks
Legal Aptitude: 50 marks
Logical Reasoning: 40 marks

CLAT is stands for Common Law Admission Test.

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks from a recognized board then you are eligible to attend in CLAT exam for admission in LLB course.

Candidate age should not be more than 20 years for LLB course.
