Yes , you have choice to join in Postal department after 12th stands i.e postal assistant Postal Assistant Examination Eligibility : Nationality : Citizen of Indian Educational Qualification : 10+2 stands (OR) any equivalent with at least 60% aggregate from a recognized university . 45% aggregate for SC/ST Candidates Age Limit : min of age limit 18 years & max of age limit 27 years The age limit is releasable for reserved candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates 3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates Selection Process : Written Test Typing Test Written Examination Pattern : Total Questions 100 questions & marks 100 Duration of Exam : 2 hrs There is no negative marks Part A : 25 questions based on General Knowledge Current Events Sports History Geography Basic Economics General Polity Indian Constitution Science Environment Part B : 25 questions based on mathematics of matriculation standard Cover Number System Simplification Decimals Corrections Simple & Compound Interest Percentage Average Profit & Loss Discount Menstruation Time & Work Time & Distance Part C : 25 questions based on English covering Grammar Prepositions Adverbs Conjunction Direct / Indirect Speech Singular & Plural Tenses Antonyms / Synonyms Part D : 25 questions based on Reasoning & analytical ability Typing Test Details : Duration of Exam : 30 min 15 min each for typing writing & data entry Examination Fee : Rs.200/- Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 to 20200/- + grade pay 2,400/- + admissible allowance |
