Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? • Indian Navy have everything pertaining to technical periphery and being from the humanities part, you might find it difficult to excel in the Navy. After completion of class10, you may not enter on officer post. Posts like cooks, steward, barber are available. First of all, complete you class 12 and Indian Navy has a lot to offer. (Marine Engineers) • 10+2 (Tech) Cadet Entry-Permanent Commission • Age: Men in the age group of 16½-19 years. • Education: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Maths (min 70 per cent marks in aggregate of PCM, min 50 per cent marks in English either in 10th or 12th class) • Mode of selection: Written examination followed by SSB interview and medical examination. Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? hello, You really have a very nice result in Class 10th boards. But I am really sorry to say that YOU CANNOT APPLY FOR NDA before passing out Class 12th. This is because NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Its the entry level examination to get in the Army, Navy and Air Force. So the minimum requirement for that is you should be an unmarried male candidate within age 16.5 to 19 years. Also you can get entry in the Navy ONLY if you have studied Science stream in your HS. If not, then you can only apply for the ARMY. Also you should note that Physical and mental fitness is a must for the NDA. Now if you want to join NAVY, then take up Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects in your Higher Secondary and pass out well. After that apply for the NDA. ALL THE BEST |

Sorry to say that you cannot join Indian Navy at present time. Through NDA examination, you can join Navy. The eligibility criteria required for Indian Navy are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 12th with PCM from any approved board. * Final year contendors are not eligible. * Sex:- Male. * Marital status:- Unmarried or single. * Age limit:- 16.5-19 yrs. * Nationality:- Indian. * Physically and mentally fit. The selection procedure for Indian Navy is mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * SSB interview. * Medical/Physical test. |

After passing 12th class you eligible only for Army Wing test. Now, Look at the eligibility criteria of NDA Examination **12th pass or appearing candidate are also eligible for apply. **only unmarried male candidate eligible. **age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. • For Army Wing of NDA 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent. • For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy 12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics. so,firstly complete your 12th with the maximum marks. good luck to your future. You should be minimum 12 pass out age limit-16.5-19 yrs you should be an unmarried citizen of india Exam pattern:- paper i is mathematics of 300 marks paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:- part A is english of 200 marks part B is general knowledge of 400 marks so total 900 marks Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks For more information log onto this website:- www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? as you are in 10 but after passing 10 every student is keen to select the subject but These things totally depends upon your interest and aim.It depends upon you career aispiration and liking. After 10th there are three stream-science,commerce and arts. there is no way any one can tell which subject will be good for you without knowing any background information about and also what are your future plans ,hence there is no better person than you yourself to decide about it .There are unlimited options after 10th class some of the most prominent ones are science,commerce,arts, etc. You can go for engineering or professional courses like ca/cs/ICWAI You can also apply for NDA. If you want to go for IAS.You should complete your graduation first. so all the best for your decision. |

You wants to serve the nation, which is really appreciable ,.But you are not older enough to appear in the NDA examination. conducted by the union public service commission.[/B][/B] The minimum education[/COLOR][/B][/B]al requirement for appear in this examination in a 12th degree from a recognized board. For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have subjects Physics & maths with at least 60%.. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years.There is not kind of age limit reservation applicable for any reserved category . You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried. Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? yes you can join indian navy after doing your diploma in computer engineering .there is a CDS exam conducted by UPSE in that there is a written exam and after that there is a interview called SSB exam so to be eligible for the CDS exam you have to be graduate with minimum 60% after your SSB interview they call you to choice defence area in which you want to go like in navy ,air force or in army so all the best |

So, better first complete your 12th with having subject combination of Physcis, Chemistry and MAthematics with at least 60% aggregate. Then plethora of oppurtunities will be there for you like- NDA (National Defenc Academy) TES (Technical Entry Scheme) NDA: is conducted by UPSC (http://upsc.gov.in) twice every year probably in the months of april and september, notification for which are announced in employment news.Candidate you had passed class 12 (Any subject) can appear for Army wing of NDA, Candidate you had passed/appeared class 12 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate can appear for NAvy & AIrforce wings. Age limit- 16 years- 19 1/2 years. TES: Candidates who have passed class 12 PCM with at least 70% aggregate can find direct entry to defence after cracking a small entrance conducted by Defence service itself.Notifaca are announced in employment news. Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? as you are a class 10th student so first you will have to decide your goal and on that basic choose your subject in class 12th.... there are generally four main subjects a student choose in his 12th; -math -biology -arts -commerce if you want to go for engineering, software field, information technology field then you can choose math in your 12th.... if you want to go for MBBS or medical field then you can choose biology.... if you want to go for economic, business, management then you can choose arts or commerce.... |

Re: Can I join Navy after 10th? Indian Navy is one of the renowned as well as a respected jobs of the Government of India. There are two chances every year for you. Generally, examination is held twice a year in the months of June and December every year. They recruit through a entrance exam named Short Service Commission(SSC). Eligibility Criteria :- Nationality : Indian. Marital Status : Unmarried. Educational Qualifications : i)You should pass the 12th or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with 60% or above marks in aggregate and optional as Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science. ii)You should pass B.Sc in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics with minimum 60% marks. or iii)You should pass BE or B.Tech with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any discipline from any institution recognized by AICTE. or iv)You should have M. Sc in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics with minimum 55% marks. Age Limits :19.5 to 25 years as the examination time. Physical Standards:- Height: Minimum 157 cm Eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9 Color perception: CP II The eligible candidates will be called up for Service Selection Board (SSB) based on their educational intelligence in graduation. The minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks. For this , you can give the NDA exam.
