Re: Are Pure Science candidates eligible to apply for MBBS later on? MBBS is Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery and it is five year duration course. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper. Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in board examination. So, you are not eligible to appear for NEET examination with PCM in 12th. No, now you are not eligible to change the group in 12th. To get any detail information about examination visit at www.cbseneet.nic.in. |

Re: Are Pure Science candidates eligible to apply for MBBS later on? MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and same is a undergraduate medical degree course after completing which one heads towards becoming a doctor. Further, the minimum education required for pursuing MBBS degree course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognized board of education. Now, as far as you are concerned about the change of stream in Class 12th from pure science group ( i.e; PCM ) for pursuing MBBS degree course then it is certainly allowed and you can shift to PCB group or PCMB group in your Class 12th having not pursued Biology at your Class 11th. |

Are Pure Science candidates eligible to apply for MBBS later on? I have chosen Pure Science group in 11th. Will I be able to do MBBS after completing my 12th board exam with this group? If not, then should I change my group now only? |
