Re: Scope of M.Ed after B.Ed? Hi, See M.Ed. is the master degree version of B.Ed. So since B.Ed. is for school level teaching jobs, M.Ed. is for college level teaching jobs. But if you look in the classifieds section of the newspapers, then you will see that seldom are there colleges which go for M.Ed. people for teaching any subject in their college. You can do M.Ed. But in parallel you must have a master degree in your subject domain. Otherwise getting a good lecturer job will be very difficult. I hope I could make the picture clear to you. |

To be a teacher B.Ed qualification is sufficient.or C.T(certified teacher) But if you want to teach to graduates colleges then you need to M.Ed qualification. u need to qualify the NET exam. Ed. after doing B. Ed. because it will improve your profile. You will easily get the job of a lecturer, professor etc. in colleges especially govt. colleges. |
