Re: Age relaxation in BPSC for central govt staff for OBC category The BPSC Age Limit for General Category male competitors is: Minimum age 20 years Maximum age 37 years General Female/ OBC/ OBC (Male/Female) - 40 years SC / SC (Male/Female) - 42 years The age limit and additional BPSC eligibility criteria differ for different services, and categories primary of them are as follows: 1. Deputy Superintendent of Police Minimum age: 20 years 2. Probationary officer Minimum age: 21 years 3. Rural development officer Minimum age: 21 years 4. Labour Enforcement officer Minimum age: 21 years 5. Block SC/ST Welfare officer Minimum age: 21 years 6. Supply Inspector Minimum age: 21 years |

Re: Age relaxation in BPSC for central govt staff for OBC category The upper age limit for an OBC candidate for BPSC is 40. For government employees who have been in continuous service for atleast 3 years have a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. That is for them 45(40+5) is the upper age limit. |

For government employees who have been in continuous service for at least three years: Number of Attempts: 3 Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: 5 years. So yes, if you fulfill the above criteria you are eligible for the age relaxation. |

Re: Age relaxation in BPSC for central govt staff for OBC category Bihar government employees who have been in continuous service for at least three years will allow relaxation in upper age limit for 5 years. Hence, 40 years + 5 years.But in such case, the candidates have to show their valid service certificate as a proof in order to claim for age relaxation. |

Age relaxation in BPSC for central govt staff for OBC category I,am a rly employee who have rendered more than three years regular service .I belong to obc community.will I be given age relaxation by BPSC, that is 40 years +5 years in upper age limit. |
