The candidates who have completed their post graduation from recognized university are eligible to apply for the exam. As you have completed from the PTU which is recognized college or approved from UGC then you can apply for the NET Exam. The Masters' degree from finance is eligible to apply for the UGC NET Commerce. All the best for the future ahead. |

Re: Distance MCA from PTU is valid for UGC NET 2016 December exam? Yes, PTU is recognised by UGC and you are eligible to appear for UGC NET entrance examination in 2016. The examination is conducted twice every year and eligibility to appear for examination is minimum master degree or pursuing in 2nd year from recognised university with minimum 55% relaxation for reserved category. So, if you have above qualification you are eligible to appear for examination. For more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in. |

The distance degree offered by Punjab Technical University is approved by Distance Education council and University Grants Commission and hence its distance degree is valid for entrance exams and jobs. You can apply for UGC NET exam if you fulfill following criteria: *Minimum percentage of marks in master's degree in computer application must be 55% then only you will be eligible to apply for NET exam in 2016 December. *Upper age limit for JRF is 28 years. |
